Biography

I have had the privilege of a widely varied background, both in education and employment. The combination of these experiences with my doctoral training has allowed me to occupy a unique position between academic and administrator within the Hidden Stories family. I assist with communications, finances, and events, as well as copy-editing, drafting, and occasional research.

My own academic background is in Old English vernacular saints' lives, the treatment of bodies, and the language of punishment. Before that, I studied Latin and Greek literature, and I sang opera before that. I have worked in various governmental administrative positions, and taught a variety of English courses at the University of Toronto.
